"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things because we're curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
Congratulations Bailey Cates!!
Bailey won the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Concerto Competition and will perform the Artunian Trumpet Concerto with the orchestra in the spring! Bailey has been a student at Da Capo for over eight years, studying classical guitar and piano, jazz guitar and theory, and she currently studies jazz improvisation with Joel Moore.
Bailey is a very special student for us. She was only eight years old when she began lessons at Da Capo. She is and has always been one of the hardest working most dedicated students we have ever worked with. It has been a privilege to watch her grow into such a wonderful musician and amazing young woman. The most exciting part is that this is just the beginning of many great accomplishments for Bailey!

2018 Halloween Recitals
Construction Has Begun!
Construction on our new studio got under way this week! If everything stays on schedule, we should be able to move in at the end of September!
We're moving!!! We can't believe it's been almost five years since we moved from the Community Center into our current space. We've grown a lot in the last few years, and now we need more space. So, we are moving across the street into the Jewel Shopping Plaza! Our new studio is almost twice the size of our current space, and we should be moved in by the end of the summer!
